“Architects of Our Future World – Contrast to Hoarding and Control”

THE CALL

The Digital Druids are called to those who understand: technology is neutral, it’s the INTENTION that makes it serve or extract. Code can build freedom or it can tighten cages. The architects of digital infrastructure can shape consciousness itself.

When tech systems collapse or become totalitarian surveillance, we will need builders who remember that technology should serve LIFE, not profit. Those who can create alternatives to corporate control and understand that open-source is sacred work.

You are the ones who build ethical technology, and write code in service to community not extraction. Creating tools that empower rather than addict, while remembering that humans created technology and humans can reclaim it.

THE WORK

The Coven of the Digital Druids serves:

  • Innovation, tools, and digital systems
  • Ethical technology as corporate tech fails
  • Open-source alternatives to control mechanisms
  • Technology in service to community

You build:

  • Open-source software and platforms
  • Decentralized networks and tools
  • Privacy-respecting alternatives to surveillance tech
  • Technology that empowers rather than extracts
  • Digital infrastructure for communities
  • Tech education and literacy programs
  • Repair and reuse movements (right to repair)
  • Appropriate technology for specific needs

You maintain:

  • Technology that serves life, not profit
  • Digital freedom and sovereignty
  • Knowledge that tech is tool, not master
  • Alternatives when corporate tech becomes oppressive

THE MEDICINE

Your wound: You’ve seen how technology destroys attention, mines data, surveils, addicts, & extracts. Worked in Big Tech and watched it corrupt. Or you’ve been harmed by algorithmic systems, surveillance, & tech-enabled abuse.

Your gift: You can build technology that actually serves humans. You understand code deeply enough to create alternatives. Making tech accessible, ethical, & empowering rather than extractive.

Your medicine to the whole: You ensure that when corporate tech collapses or becomes dystopian, communities have alternatives. Building the infrastructure for coordination, communication, and knowledge-sharing without corporate control.

YOU MIGHT BE CALLED TO THIS COVEN IF YOU…

Have the ability to code, build, or understand technology deeply

Witnessed Big Tech corruption and want alternatives

Believe in open-source, decentralization, digital freedom

Teach tech literacy and digital sovereignty

Work on right to repair, tech sustainability
