“Wounds Have Become Gifts – Medicine-Makers”
THE CALL
The Coven of the Apothecary is called to those who know: the body holds wisdom, and healing is a relationship and not a transaction. The best medicine-makers are those who’ve been through the crucible of illness themselves.
When healthcare systems collapse, people need medicine-makers who can work with what’s available. Those who understand that healing happens in relationship. Who know their own bodies deeply enough to guide others through theirs.
You are the ones who mix remedies from what grows nearby. And can hold space for bodies in crisis. Those who understand that sometimes healing means learning to live with what can’t be “fixed.”
THE WORK
The Coven of the Apothecary serves:
- Bodies, healing, wellness, and medicine
- Health alternatives as systems fail
- Practical remedies and healing arts
- Body wisdom and somatic practices

You build:
- Community health clinics and mobile care
- Herbal medicine and home remedy knowledge
- First aid and emergency care networks
- Chronic illness support and adaptation
- Birth and death doula services
- Mental/physical health integration
- Healing that works without insurance
You maintain:
- Access to basic healthcare when systems fail
- Knowledge of what actually works
- Relationship-based healing practices
- Body sovereignty and informed choice
THE MEDICINE
Your wound: You’ve navigated chronic illness, medical trauma, cancer, disabilities, health crises that showed you how broken the system is. Perhaps your body has been your teacher, often a brutal one.
Your gift: You know how to heal with limited resources. Understanding that bodies are complex, that healing isn’t linear, that sometimes the best medicine is presence and witnessed pain. You can guide others through what you’ve survived.
Your medicine to the whole: You keep people alive and functional when hospitals are inaccessible. Having a keen knowing for what works and what’s just expensive placebo. You can triage, treat, and tend with whatever’s available.
